Impalement - part of the commission
I brushed some dust off this old drawing of mine... not in the right mood these days, so this must do for now.
I hope some of you might still find it amusing. In a way...
The master got himself a new, younger slave. To mark the occasion, he invited his friends to a party. To entertain and treat the guests, the master decided to use the old slave, who had become unnecessary. The master declared his will to the slave and ordered a stake to be made for his use. The new slave and the old slave prepared everything for the party. When the guests assembled, the old slave obediently sat on the stake. It was his last service to his Master. The guests watched with interest and chose the piece of meat they would take. It was very amusing and fun. The new slave stood back and saw his future in a few years.
Nice story, it makes perfect sense with the design. The slave's resigned behavior on the stake, its deep sadness, reveals that it recognizes that it is no longer of use to his owner. It accepts pain and death as the last step in its life devoted to the Owner. If its death must be so painful and humiliating, it is only to please one last time, to amuse his Owner. If its body will be torn to pieces, if its flesh will be divided and eaten by the guests, that's why animals are good for that, it's their destiny.
A strong man, very virile, meets his fate. He was a good stallion, but now he is only a suffering and dying animal. Other men around him enjoy his pain and mock him, while the pole goes deeper into him, raping his ass. The agony will be long and his carrion will feed the insects that now torment him. Great drawing! Excellent!
